The story of San Miguel Beer dates back to 1890 in the Philippines, when Spanish settlers established the first brewery there. After finding success there, San Miguel Beer was introduced into Spain in 1946. 

Since then, it has become the undisputed leader in Spanish beer. Based on its popularity with 80 million annual tourists, San Miguel then became the leading Spanish international premium beer. 

Their most iconic beer is the award-winning San Miguel Especial: a premium lager, golden in colour and sparkling, with a generous white head of foam and a citrus aroma.
